Shop Timothe Chalamet's Converse Sneakers 2023

Timothée Chalamet is no stranger to the fashion world—especially now that he is linked with proclaimed style guru Kylie Jenner. The actor is known to have some creative looks featuring boldly patterned suits and decked-out hoodies (does anyone else remember that Louis Vuitton hoodie adorned with 3,000 Swarovski crystals from The King premiere?!). With his backless red Venice Film Festival outfit becoming a full-on internet meme, it’s fair to say he’s made waves in the fashion world a time or two.

Chalamet recently appeared on Saturday Night Live—in perfect timing for him to promote his new movie adaptation of Willy Wonka, coming out on December 15 after the SAG strikes have come to an end. Like most celebrity SNL hosts, the star headed to an after-party in a blissfully swagged-out fit. Chalamet wore a vibrant blue hoodie with a bright red "Oompa" graphic (a nod to his sweet new role as Willy Wonka himself) underneath a purple jacket garnished with tan detailing. He finished off the look with gray dark-wash jeans and the reason why we are all here: a pair of Converse. Chalamet’s shoe of choice resembles Converse’s low-rise $70 Chuck Taylor Alt Star in black and white.

This isn't the first time the movie actor stepped out in the classic sneaker brand. In fact, Chalamet has been pictured walking the streets of New York City in Converse’s $150 Chuck Taylor Hidden Heart High Top Sneakers in blue (which are gender inclusive, by the way). He even sported a classic pair of $90 Chuck 70 Vintage Canvas at the 2021 Met Gala — yes, you read that right — sneakers at the Met Gala. If you ask us, though, that’s what it looks like when you prioritize both comfort and fashion.

Safe to say that Chalamet loves a good sneaker, no matter the occasion. He’s also styled sneaker brands like Vans, Nike, and Adidas, sprinkled in with more high-end luxury brands like Gucci, Louis Vuitton, and Alexander McQueen. Chalamet, if you’re reading this, we would love to raid your shoe closet.
